| Multi-stone Ring: 3-head crosspiece on Eastlake shank Distinguished by its crosswise positioning of the 3-stone head, this mounting embodies the Victorian ideal number: three, for the Holy Trinity. The engraved shoulder pattern is Eastlake in style, vertical lines on each side of a tiny central pattern, working its way down to a dot and fleur in the smooth surface of the flat, uniform-width lower shank. The crosspiece holds 3 same-size stones (each under a half-carat), in 6-prong heads, literally touching each other. Equally striking with a series of diamonds or same-colored stones.
