A unique rendition of "filigree basket" design - so called because, if set on its head, one sees a basket with tall round handle. The top profile is "puffed" wide, surrounding the bezel head with a series of openwork triangles. Engraved shoulders pinch inward to the smooth lower shank. Fill this basket mounting with a stone of roughly ¾ carat.
