What distinguishes this petite crown mounting are the tiny fan shapes between the 6 prongs. Below that, the shoulders are "pinched" to display an ornate engraved pattern on both sides, before turning out for the smooth lower shank. The head takes a stone around average in size for engagement diamonds - in the range of ½ to ¾ carat.
