The narrow shank is smooth from bottom to top, but then a delicate pattern emerges to climb the ends of the tall crown head. Viewed from the side, it's a cathedral-style shank, with openwork triangles flanking the ornate head. It takes a 2/3 to 1¼ carat stone.
