Cut -- Please select one Grade:

Class A -- Has virtually "ideal" proportions and finish. These stones are rare and carry a premium for their excellent cut.

Class B -- Internationally perceived as well cut. The standard for most wholesale price guides and for fine jewelry.

Class C -- An unexceptional cut, with no major defects. May represent a slight sacrifice in handling light to save weight.

Class D -- Has cut and finish defects resulting in a lifeless appearance. We do not offer such diamonds for sale to our customers.

Selection method:

Wooden Skate's recommendation -- Balances the issues of quality, size and price to give the best value for the money, by conventional measurements and standards.

  B Grade
-- Bettor choices for the budget-conscious Diamonds that cost less for reasons that do not seriously affect their beauty or durability, but do affect the price (e.g., slightly deep stones, priced by their apparent size, which is less than their weighed size).

Finest Quality for the Money -- For the perfectionists among you -- finds the highest quality diamonds, with the best cut, color and clarity, but smaller than the average.

Biggest Diamond for the Money -- Finds the diamonds with the highest carat weight in your price range, accepting the tradeoff of lower color, clarity and/or cut.
